As we get ready for the Spring ’13 release of Arena BOMControl, we want to share a bit about our own product development processes and how we gather customer feedback to collect and prioritize features and functionalities within the application.
Our most direct channel to interact with Arena customers is the ‘FastFeedback’ module, which appears in the footer of every page in BOMControl. This is a quick and easy way to contact the Arena support team with questions or suggestions. We promise to get back to you within one business day – usually sooner – and we value this input to help us develop features and prioritize our development efforts. This “active listening” is the key to developing tools to help you succeed.
What we’ve heard increasingly is that our customers want the ability to more directly model their existing business processes within the workflows of BOMControl. The Spring ’13 release has taken your feedback and enhanced BOMControl to now:
Define your own lifecycle phases for your products
Offer more control over access and information visibility
Rank approved sources for each Item
Get data out of BOMControl more easily with:
new Save to CSV function on key views
seamless integrated viewer for PDX format exports.
