Craig Livingston

President and
Chief Executive Officer

As chairman and chief executive officer, Craig Livingston sets the strategic direction to help our customers deliver innovative products.

Before joining Arena, Craig served as vice president and general manager of the SME Solutions division at Agile Software. Responsible for the division’s global operations, he oversaw sales, marketing, product strategy, R&D, and support for small to mid-sized manufacturing businesses. Craig’s leadership fueled revenue growth and led to the successful acquisition by Oracle.

Craig held key executive sales and operations positions at other engineering and enterprise software leaders, including think3, PeopleSoft, CCI-Triad, and Borland. Craig’s experience, vision, and ability to execute have led Arena to become the most successful Cloud PLM solution provider in the market today.

Craig earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from San Jose State University.

Wenxiang Ma

Executive Vice President Engineering & Chief Technology Officer

Wenxiang spearheads Arena’s software development, quality assurance, and customer support. He also manages all cloud infrastructure operations and oversees technology directions.

With over 20 years of leadership and development experience building complex, scalable enterprise supply chain manufacturing and PLM applications, Wenxiang works to continually innovate while delivering new solutions to the market.

Previously, he was senior director of development at Oracle, where he managed the overall development of the next generation PLM solutions across worldwide development centers. Before that, as general manager of China Development Center at Agile Software, Wenxiang was instrumental in the initial center launch and daily operations, while leading a successful acquisition transition by Oracle. He has also held senior leadership development positions at Kanisa (Ernst & Young), Starfish Software, and Borland International.

Wenxiang has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University.

Jeff Cross

Chief Financial Officer

Jeff heads up the finance, accounting, operations, and legal departments. He is primarily responsible for financial reporting, sales operations, forecasting, and M&A activities.

Jeff’s experience includes Abila, Inc., where he oversaw finance, accounting, and legal functions and led a successful sale to Ministry Brands. Before that, as a strategic consultant at DigitalGlobe, Jeff created forecasts, budgets, key metrics, and the structure for a new organization within a multimillion-dollar publicly traded company. Prior to that, Jeff led the operations team at Travelclick and led the due diligence process that culminated in the sale to Thoma Bravo. He has held key executive-level positions at Hoovers (a Dun & Bradstreet company) and Dun & Bradstreet.

Jeff earned a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Andrea Pitts

Senior Vice President
Global Sales

Andrea oversees our global sales organization, including business development, sales, solution consulting, and business partner alliances. She has been recognized as one of the top 50 women leaders in SaaS.

With more than 20 years’ experience building, scaling, and managing successful sales organizations, Andrea has created sales processes and best practices to consistently exceed revenue targets.

Andrea’s career has involved managing sales operations for Agile Software and Oracle after they were acquired. She developed new certification programs, processes, strategic PLM campaigns, and targeted training programs to strengthen key partnerships. Andrea’s sales leadership experience started at think3, an early PLM solutions leader, where she developed a comprehensive approach to build, scale, and drive enterprise software sales teams.

She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northwood University, and has advanced expertise in value-driven approaches for enterprise application sales.

Fred Waugh

Vice President

Fred leads all aspects of corporate marketing, including public and analyst relations, demand generation, brand, and communications.

Previously, Fred was the executive vice president of marketing for Invodo, a leading e-commerce software company. He was in charge of marketing, product management, and business development and helped accelerate the company’s leadership position.

Other companies where he held senior management positions include SailPoint, Compass Learning, Convio, and Tivoli (an IBM company). He has driven successful product management, marketing, and business development efforts to accelerate corporate growth. Fred’s leadership has been key to multiple successful company acquisitions and an IPO.

Fred has a bachelor of science degree in journalism from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He has also completed executive leadership courses at the Center for Creative Leadership and the University of Chicago.

Nathan Martin

Vice President
Customer Success

Nathan leads the professional services and training teams, helping ensure that the Arena solution is successfully deployed, embraced, and leveraged across the entire customer base and their supply chains.

Nathan has spent his career working closely with global manufacturers to understand their challenges and provide solutions that help achieve their key objectives. At Arena, he has been a solution consultant and account manager, working with companies before and after they’ve selected Arena. That’s given Nathan deep insights into manufacturing companies’ processes and needs, along with practical experience helping them gain tangible value as they move from early adoption and scale their deployments.

Nathan’s past experience includes key roles in product management and application engineering at PLM provider think3, lean manufacturing consultancy DTAKT Systems, and computing solution provider Silicon Graphics.

A manufacturing engineer by training, Nathan has a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Ohio University.

Erin Teter

Vice President
Human Resources

Erin strives to create a work environment in which employees feel supported, respected, and energized. She promotes a purpose-driven culture where people enjoy coming to work, are highly motivated, and can expand their career potential.

Her background includes four years at Abila, Inc. as a key member of the executive team that quickly grew the business, leading to an acquisition by Ministry Brands. Erin also spent 11 years as director of human resources at Sage, partnering with the executive leadership team to translate corporate business objectives into specific, measurable human resources and strategic initiatives that enabled a competitive advantage.

Erin has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Texas Lutheran University. She earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and certifications from the University of Texas Professional Development Program and is an active member of Society of Human Resources, WilcoHR, and ARMHA organizations.

George Lewis

Vice President
Business Development
and Strategy

George leads corporate strategy at Arena and works with all teams to unite Arena’s corporate vision.

An industry veteran with 20+ years of experience at product development companies, George began his career working for The BFGoodrich Company as a project engineer responsible for ensuring customer success in injection molding technologies. George has since held increasingly responsible roles in the CAD/CAM/PDM industry, including customer implementations of technologies from Parametric Technology Corporation and Dassault Systèmes.

George led Arena’s solution consulting organization for 12 years before working for PropelPLM and Oracle. His mix of consulting, industry, and sales experience made him the right choice to rejoin Arena in 2019 to direct corporate strategy and development.

George has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Akron.
