Overview:
The Arena – Datum Source integration accelerates your time to market by immediately syncing released items to your supply chain team and ensuring procurement can easily understand purchasing requirements, gather purchase approvals, issue purchase orders, and update suppliers in real-time. The integration automates updates from your Arena part library and files to Datum Source based on each organization’s default and custom attributes configuration. The integration also flags open change orders so procurement stays updated with engineering on revision changes and the latest BOM.
How it Works:
Once implemented, the Arena – Datum Source integration automatically creates new part records in Datum Source once the Arena item is initially released into a designated state (e.g. Design). Then, any released change orders trigger updates in Datum Source, with new part revisions created as applicable. The integration utilizes Arena’s low-code Event Engine and Datum Source’s embedded iPaaS for a fast, cost-effective deployment that can be fully implemented and tested in a matter of days.
