Hardware NPI: The Network Effect

One of the keys to our success at Arena is being at the center of the legendary ecosystem of Silicon Valley. This affords us — and many of our customers — the chance to literally rub shoulders with innovators and inventors at all stages of product development, design and manufacturing. These discussions often lead to new ideas and collaborations, and can be especially helpful for people just getting started in product development.

We partner with the Product Realization Group (PRG) to extend our network of innovation, and have enjoyed their excellent programming for both in-person and web-based events. The PRG is a terrific resource for anyone looking to keep up on the latest trends in new product development and introduction, product innovation and build professional relationships with designers, engineers and manufacturers.

On their list of upcoming events is the next evening in the newly-launched Hardware NPI Silicon Valley Meetup series, which will be held on April 17th at the headquarters of Extron in Milpitas.

The Extron team will speak about their experiences developing a new “hybrid” supply chain model, as well as reshoring and other emerging supply chain trends. Come at 6:30pm for food and informal networking before the talk at 7pm, and stay after the talk to continue the discussion. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to chat with the presenters and attendees (check out the event page to see who has RSVPd) and discuss these trends and others you’ve observed in your own work.

Hope to see you there!
