As chairman and chief executive officer of Arena Solutions, Craig Livingston sets the company’s strategic direction and oversees all operations.
Before joining Arena, Craig served as vice president and general manager of the SME Solutions division of PLM provider Agile Software. Responsible for the division’s global operations, he oversaw the development, distribution and support of PLM solutions for small to mid-sized manufacturing businesses. His success in that role helped propel Agile to strong growth and a successful acquisition by Oracle.
Previous experience in executive sales and operations roles at other engineering and enterprise software leaders, including think3, PeopleSoft, CCI-Triad and Borland, laid the foundation of Craig’s thorough understanding of the needs of mid-market manufacturers.
Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from San Jose State University.

Eric Larkin

As co-founder and chief technology officer of Arena Solutions, Eric Larkin leads product strategy, design and development and supervises all technical operations.
Eric’s deep technical expertise and extensive experience with product development, information systems and project management in manufacturing environments inform the development and delivery of Arena. Prior to co-founding Arena, Eric managed electromechanical projects at D2M, Inc., a product design and development firm, and managed hardware product development at Storm Technology, a manufacturer of consumer image-capture devices. Before his work at Storm, Eric served as chief technology officer at Light & Motion Industries, a vertically integrated manufacturer of underwater video, photo and lighting products, where he helped architect the internal system that later became the prototype for Arena.
Eric holds master’s degrees in electrical engineering and manufacturing systems engineering as well as bachelor’s degrees in philosophy/religious studies and mechanical engineering from Stanford University.

Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer, Ken Bozzini oversees financial strategy and planning of Arena Solutions to help facilitate company performance and growth. Through his management of the finance, accounting, human resources, legal, information technology, facilities and professional services functions, he focuses on helping the organization leverage its offerings and maximize financial opportunities.
With more than 25 years in financial and operational leadership roles for a variety of technology-based companies, Ken has extensive experience in developing the financial foundation and operational processes that support companies through growth, expansion and ultimately public offering or acquisition. In his previous role as CFO at Securimetrics Inc., Ken played a major role in the organization’s evolution from entrepreneurial start-up to Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant division of a publicly traded industry leader. Ken has also prepared several companies to go public, including Evolve Software, where he led the organization through an acquisition and an IPO and then transformed the company’s cost structure and financing strategy as market conditions rapidly changed. With other financial positions at WildPackets Inc., Xoma Ltd., California Culinary Academy and Hewlett Packard among others—companies that range from start-ups to publicly held multinationals—Ken knows how to leverage practical financial leadership to help propel companies from one stage of growth to the next.
Ken holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Golden Gate University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Ken earned his CPA while working for PriceWaterhouse, and his license is active.

Steve Chalgren
Vice President Product Management & Strategy
As vice president of product management and strategy, Steve Chalgren is responsible for setting product strategy, charting the product roadmap and leading the Arena product team.
Steve combines deep domain expertise with a proven record of delivering products that solve manufacturers’ real problems. Prior to Arena, Steve was a product strategy director at Oracle, where he led a team to extend Oracle’s product lifecycle management (PLM) footprint by defining and delivering the company’s first innovation-focused PLM product. Previously, as director of products for the small and medium enterprise (SME) division at Agile Software, Steve oversaw the Agile Advantage product line, which included both client/server and on-demand versions of the product. He led the division’s multi-site offshore development and product management teams to extend the product’s usability, functionality and international reach. Directing the SME global customer care team at the same time, Steve also made sure that customers had a significant voice in product updates, maintaining high customer satisfaction during a period of strong growth for the company.
Before working in enterprise software, Steve spent a nearly a decade in manufacturing supply chain operations, mainly for fast-growing technology start-ups. In these roles he gained an appreciation for the complexity of design-to-manufacturing processes and first-hand experience with the challenges faced by the people who participate in them.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Wenxiang Ma

Vice President Engineering
As vice president of engineering, Wenxiang Ma manages all product development, quality assurance and support services at Arena.
With over thirteen years of experience in PLM and almost twenty years of development leadership, Wenxiang combines extensive domain knowledge with an ability to lead and motivate teams through successful product releases. Prior to joining Arena, Wenxiang worked as senior director of development at Oracle, where he managed the overall development of the next generation Oracle Fusion PLM across worldwide development centers. As general manager of the China Development Center at Agile Software, Wenxiang played an instrumental role in initial center set-up and development initiatives and grew the team to more than 100 people, earning recognition among top development centers in the country. Wenxiang has also held various development management positions at Kanisa (Ernst & Young), Starfish Software and Borland International.
Wenxiang holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University.

Kent Killmer

Kent Killmer
Vice President Marketing
As vice president of marketing, Kent Killmer is responsible for harnessing technology to craft and drive Arena’s marketing strategy. This includes; corporate branding, messaging, creative, advertising, SEM, SEO, PPC, CRO, social media, pricing, demand generation, market research, analyst relations and website development for Arena Solutions.
Previous experience found Kent in functional leadership positions in marketing, sales, alliances and portfolio strategy. Most recently he led sales for a solid state memory manufacturer, and was SVP sales and marketing for an Agile software developer. Additionally, Kent has held executive level portfolio strategy positions with EDS and led North American sales for a division of ADP.
Earlier in his career, Kent led sales and marketing for a financial services entity, where he aided in drafting HR2234 and its follow-on lobbying on the Hill. He also quarterbacked the award winning marketing function for a joint venture with the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. While there, he won seven regional and three national marketing awards and was on the Board with President and GM, Texas ‘Tex’ Schramm.
Kent holds a BS in civil engineering from Kansas State University and secured an Illinois Professional Engineers license. Further, he possesses dual MBA’s from Xavier University with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.

Andrea Pitts
Vice President Sales & Strategic Alliances
As vice president of sales and strategic alliances at Arena, Andrea Pitts leads go-to-market and operational strategies, and coordinates with key alliances and partners around the world to support Arena’s business development goals.
Andrea comes to Arena with a 20+ year track record of building and managing successful sales teams, and helping partners and alliances on both sides of the distribution channel meet revenue goals. As North America Director of Sales at Agile, Andrea managed all sales operations and developed new certification programs and process, strategic product lifecycle management (PLM) campaigns and targeted training programs to strengthen key partnerships and alliances. Prior to Agile, Andrea built and managed sales and business development team for a technology start-up Think3, which provides state-of-the-art design and PLM solutions to the global manufacturing market.
Andrea holds a dual bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northwood University, and has advanced expertise in the area of value-driven approaches for enterprise application sales.

Nathan Martin
Vice President Customer Success
As vice president of customer success, Nathan Martin oversees the professional services and training teams whose role is to ensure that the Arena solution is successfully deployed and adopted across the entire customer base.
Nathan has spent his career working closely with manufacturers to understand their challenges and connect them with solutions that help achieve their objectives. At Arena he’s been both a solution consultant and an account manager, working with companies before and after they’ve selected Arena. That’s given him deep insight into manufacturers’ needs and practical experience helping them gain tangible value from the Arena solution. Before joining Arena, Nathan worked in a variety of product management and application engineering roles at PLM provider think3, lean manufacturing consultancy DTAKT Systems and computing solution provider Silicon Graphics.
A manufacturing engineer by training, Nathan has a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from Ohio University.

Martin is a Managing Partner and the founder of Runway Capital LLC, a private equity investment firm. Prior to this, in 2000, Martin founded and ran a consulting business which advised venture capital firms on their portfolio companies; his clients included Mayfield, Soros, Norwest, Weisel, JPMorgan CP, Oak, NEA, TCV, Bain Capital, and Pequot. Before Runway, he worked in the Private Equity group of Credit Suisse First Boston in London for four years. Martin started his business career as an entrepreneur founding, running and successfully selling a company which became the exclusive Apple Computer distributor for most of Central and Eastern Europe including Russia and Czechoslovakia.
Martin graduated with honors with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Czech Technical University, Prague, Czech Republic and holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from Stern Graduate School of Business, New York University. Martin also serves as Chairman of Incline Medical and Konsepti and as a Director of Agraquest.

John Pasquesi is the founder of Otter Capital, which makes a variety of private equity investments. Prior to founding Otter Capital in 2001, Mr. Pasquesi was a Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of Hellman & Friedman, a private equity investment firm. Prior to joining Hellman & Friedman in 1987, Mr. Pasquesi was associated with Golder, Thoma & Cressey, a Chicago based private equity firm. Mr. Pasquesi has an MBA from Stanford and serves as Vice Chairman and a Director of Arch Capital Group Limited and as a Director of a number of private companies.

Andy Vitus
Partner, Scale Venture Partners
Andy focuses on ScaleVP’s investments in next-generation enterprise software and new datacenter technologies – including virtualization and cloud computing. Andy sits on the boards of Arena Solutions, Entone, and INNOViON and has worked closely with Auvitek and Picolight.
Prior to joining ScaleVP in 2003, Andy worked as a hardware engineer for Electronics for Imaging, designing embedded print server platforms and video compression circuits. Previously, he was a software engineer for De Beers Research Labs, conducting research on computer vision for both medical and mining applications.
Andy earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
