Bay Area News Group Names Arena Solutions a Winner of the Bay Area 2016 Top Workplaces Award
Survey of San Francisco Bay Area Companies with more than 40 Employees Names Arena Solutions to Its Annual List
Foster City, Calif., Jul 6 - Arena Solutions, the inventor of cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications, today announced that it has been named to the Bay Area News Group’s 2016 list of the “Top 100 Workplaces” in the San Francisco area. Arena was recognized for its leadership, culture and dedication to its employees.
The Top Workplaces program recognizes great employers on 30 regional lists and one national list. The evaluations for the list are based purely on employee opinions, which are gathered by independent firm, WorkplaceDynamics. Presented by the Bay Area News Group, a consortium of top area newspapers, including the San Jose Mercury News, the Contra Costa Times and the Oakland Tribune, the program recognizes companies who demonstrate best practices in dedication to their employees and foster a positive, productive and collaborative corporate environment. Results are based on the actual feedback by employees at companies with 40 or more employees and show a strong rate of response.
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there and the feeling that everyone is in it together.” Claffey adds, “Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
“The ‘Top Workplace’ award validates our mission to create an employee-centric culture. Our employees thrive working in an environment where they are heard and respected, and they have the encouragement they need to succeed,” said Jan Russo, senior director of human resources at Arena Solutions. “At Arena, we’ve taken great pains to select employees that will add to and benefit from the environment we’re creating. This honor helps confirm that we are headed in the right direction.”
Arena has also been recognized by the National Association for Business Resources and named to their “San Francisco’s Best & Brightest Companies to Work For” list two years in a row. More information about working at Arena Solutions may be found here: http://www.arenasolutions.com/about/jobs/
