The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Friday, September 11 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and their guests attended for the presentation of new product awards, management awards, app awards and more.
This year’s American Business Awards were presented at two events. Stevies for excellence in customer service, human resources, marketing, websites, publications, videos, management, and other disciplines were announced in Chicago in June. September’s event focused on new product and technology-related categories, tech-related management, and select company/organization categories.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Tech Startup of the Year, Software Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Arena Solutions was nominated in the ‘New Product or Service of the Year – Software – Project or Systems Management Solution’ category.
Arena PLM is a unique, cloud-based, product lifecycle management (PLM) suite that gives manufacturers complete control and visibility over complex bills of materials (BOM), including all aspects of the supply chain and engineering change management (ECR/ECO). Arena PLM bridges the gap between design, engineering and manufacturing. It gives its customers a single version of the truth for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to product and retirement. It is of particular interest to OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) who hold the supply chain important when they work with complex embedded electronic components.
“Arena is very honored to receive this prestigious award,” said Steve Chalgren, executive vice president of product management and chief strategy officer at Arena Solutions. “This medal is strong validation of the hard work and dedication we put into making Arena PLM the most powerful, yet, user friendly product lifecycle management solution available.”
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 200 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.
“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments. You are setting a high standard for professionals nationwide.”
