Change Lifecycle Overview
Description
Changes have 3 lifecycle stages: Open, Submitted and Released. This video shows examples of what Changes look like in each stage. Starting with an Open and Unlocked Change, this video covers the information a submitter should complete on the Summary, Files, Items, Requests and Alerts views prior to submitting a Change for routing or approval. Reviewers also have work to do before they register their decision to approve or reject a Change, and Change Administrators have some special abilities during submission. After watching this video, users will understand the difference between Change data and implementation data as well as when Item views become locked as a part of Change submission.
