Set Confidential File Categories as Default Hidden from Suppliers
You may not wish to share all Files (like your Firmware code) with a Supplier, even when those Files are associated with a BOM Item to which the Supplier has access. If you’re an account administrator, you can set the default Supplier Visibility to Private for any File Category. No Supplier can see a Private File, even if they have access to an Item with which the File is associated. Remember that this is a default setting only, so users can still change Supplier Visibility when uploading or editing a File.
