Queue Enhancement Ideas with Deferred Requests
If you have enhancement ideas for a later version of a product—say you’re going to redesign your product next June—create a Request describing the idea. Submit the Request and then defer it. In the deferral workflow, enter a deferral deadline and set the deferral code to “Future Project”. When the deadline passes, the Request will be resubmitted automatically and participants will be notified that the enhancement is open for discussion. You can edit Request details, including the deferral deadline, at any time.
