Indicate Phase-Out with the Deprecated Status
The Deprecated phase of the Item lifecycle indicates that an Item is acceptable for use in existing designs, but should not be used for new designs. When users try to release an assembly that contains a deprecated Item, warning notices are generated. Users can choose to cancel the release or confirm the inclusion of the Deprecated Item.
