  • Template-driven project definition: Define project templates that represent your high-level business processes, with milestones and phases for various types of projects (e.g., New Product Development / Introduction, RoHS Compliance).
  • Item-type task sets: Define task sets for specific types of items (e.g., electronic, mechanical, high-risk) and specify the appropriate phase for each task.
  • Auto-generate project plans: Select phases and milestones, then assign key items to be tracked for the project. Arena will then generate the appropriate time-phased tasks for all appropriate components and subassemblies.
  • Tailor projects to individual requirements: Add, delete, or change phases, milestones, and tasks as required to support unique projects.
  • Bulk update and assign tasks: Update scheduled deadlines for tasks, reassign tasks, and update completion status in bulk.
  • Quickly identify schedule problems: Perform "on-the-fly" problem analysis by displaying the earliest deadlines for parent items and latest deadlines for their child items.
