International Software-as-a-Service Awards Program Announces Winners

Foster City, Calif., Aug 30 - Arena Solutions has been named a winner in the 2016 SaaS Awards Program in the category: Best SaaS Product for Project Management.

With awards for excellence and innovation in SaaS, the Software-as-a-Service Awards program accepts entries from North America, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA. 2016 is the inaugural year for The SaaS Awards program, which is partnered with the annual Cloud Awards, now entering its sixth year.

Categories for the 2016 awards program include Best SaaS Product for Small Business, Best Enterprise-Level SaaS Product and Best Data-Driven SaaS Product.

“For Arena Solutions to top the list in the “Best SaaS Product for Project Management” category recognizes the excellence we have worked so hard for,” said Steve Chalgren, executive vice president of product management & chief strategy officer. “It is a huge achievement to win in this category considering the caliber of the competition, and honors the dedication and commitment of the entire team.”

Arena PLM is a unique, multi-tenant, cloud-based, product lifecycle management, SaaS solution suite that affords OEMs complete control and visibility over complex bills of materials (BOM). With Arena, customers can easily manage all aspects of their supply chain and engineering change management (ECR/ECO) while uniquely tying key events directly to the product record. Arena PLM connects design, engineering and manufacturing to give customers a single version of the truth for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to manufacturing to retirement, and simplifies the management/tracking of every part needed. Recently, Arena added a new feature module: Arena Training Management for Arena QMS. This further expands the company’s ability to deliver a unique combination of product lifecycle management and quality management in a single, unified solution platform.

“After a lot of hard work, we are thrilled to be able to announce the final list of winners,” said Larry Johnson, organizer of the SaaS Awards and Cloud Awards programs. “A collection of some of the brightest and best solutions in the SaaS space today.”

“What makes us happier than anything else is to see such a varied mix of the excellence and innovation that quite literally covers the globe. It’s an international party to which any service offering is invited. We look forward to celebrating more excellence in the 2016-17 Cloud Awards, which is now open for submissions, and the 2017 SaaS Awards, which will open for submissions in late 2016,” furthered Johnson.

The SaaS Awards is now closed for entries and will reopen for 2017 submissions later in the year. More than 200 organizations entered, with international entries coming from North America, Australia, UK, Europe and the Middle East. To view the shortlist and list of winners, please visit:
