Martin Huml

Martin Huml was named Chairman of the Board of Arena Solutions in 2004. Martin is a Managing Partner and the founder of Runway Capital LLC, a private equity investment firm. Prior to this, in 2000, Martin founded and ran a consulting business which advised venture capital firms on their portfolio companies; his clients included Mayfield, Soros, Norwest, Weisel, JPMorgan CP, Oak, NEA, TCV, Bain Capital, and Pequot. Before Runway, he worked in the Private Equity group of Credit Suisse First Boston in London for four years. Martin started his business career as an entrepreneur founding, running and successfully selling a company which became the exclusive Apple Computer distributor for most of Central and Eastern Europe including Russia and Czechoslovakia.

Martin graduated with honors with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Czech Technical University, Prague, Czech Republic and holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from Stern Graduate School of Business, New York University. Martin also serves as Chairman of Incline Medical and Konsepti and as a Director of Agraquest.
