Joe Lipple

Senior Director of Product Management

As senior director of product management, Joe Lipple provides strategic product direction and sets the product roadmap at Arena.

With a solid blend of engineering, IT and marketing experience, Joe has a singular focus on delivering market-driven technology solutions. In previous product marketing leadership roles at Arena, Ariba and Selectica, Joe developed a deep understanding of the needs of manufacturing companies and other small and mid-size businesses. Joe started his career as a mechanical engineer at Bechtel, where a side project led first to the development of a web-based tool for sharing CAD drawings and then to the role of administrator and product manager for large-scale web-based applications for the company’s U.S. and international telecom divisions. There he gained first-hand experience in the benefits of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions and a commitment to developing solutions that satisfy user needs.

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, along with a minor in Spanish.
