Arena Solutions is looking for an outstanding interface designer to help us change the way product manufacturers design and build their products.
Our cloud applications help innovative product companies like Square, Sonos, Fitbit and GoPro capture and vote on changes to their designs as they work with suppliers and contract manufacturers all over the world to bring their products to market. As a key member of the product design team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of how products are designed and made.
The ideal candidate has a passion for user-centered design, excellent visual design skills, and proven expertise in interface design for web applications with great attention to detail. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment, so strong leadership and communication skills are critical.
Responsibilities
- Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flow for Arena applications.
- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, storyboards, and prototypes.
- Define and adhere to a consistent, intuitive, and extensible visual language.
- Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and Arena executives for review and feedback.
- Work with web developers and software engineers to ensure the final output respects the intended design.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in interface design for web applications.
- Mastery of the user-centered design process, the principles of web design, and scalable dynamic GUIs.
- Good working knowledge of the capabilities of current web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and of modern coding practices.
- A flexible intellect with a demonstrated ability to acquire and apply domain-specific knowledge quickly.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple product requirements while preserving a careful attention to detail.
