Corporate Account Executive

Arena Solutions, the fastest growing product lifecycle management (PLM) provider, is looking for a Corporate Account Executive, to work in our Foster City location. The Corporate Account Executive will leverage strategic and enterprise sales skills to reach executive-level decision makers and build strong relationships with customers. This individual is responsible for an annual quota and will drive initial and follow-on sales. S/he must demonstrate outstanding sales leadership versed in best practices of value selling. Successful applicants will be highly motivated professionals who can operate on an independent basis

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and close business.
  • Meet sales goals and quotas.
  • Develop territory plan.
  • Manage pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
  • Represent Arena in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Communicate the Arena value proposition clearly, quickly and gracefully.
  • Prospect, including cold-calling companies in target industries.
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in direct systems and/or software.
  • A demonstrable record of over-achieving quotas and target objectives.
  • The ability to understand quickly — and communicate clearly about — a complex software product.
  • The ability to locate the decision-maker when a number of people are involved in the buying process.
  • A familiarity with manufacturing and manufacturing software is very beneficial, particularly as related to product design and development.
  • A professional demeanor with exceptional interpersonal, critical thinking and oral communication skills.
  • Prior experience with enterprise software solutions, manufacturing and/or product development solutions, such as product lifecycle management (PLM), product data management (PDM), supply chain management (SCM) or ERP/MRP preferred.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Minimum travel - 15%
