Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of field ready sales tools
  • Positioning and packaging for Product/Feature/Services
  • Product/Feature/Services value analysis — business case development
  • Pricing strategy and execution for Product/Feature/Services
  • Product/Feature/Services related collateral — “high gloss” (e.g. data sheets, etc.)
  • Product/Feature/Services related website content
  • Product/Feature/Services related sales presentations (e.g. PPT)
  • Product/Feature/Services related screen shots, etc.
  • Product/Feature/Services related whitepapers
  • Product/Feature/Services success stories
  • Market sizing and projections
  • Market vertical analysis
  • Market segmentation analysis
  • Developing competitive positioning (company/product/feature)
  • Competitive analysis and tracking
 

Primary interfaces within Arena will be with:

  • Corporate Marketing — Creating collateral that fit/support overall company positioning and branding
  • Market Development — Develop collateral and positioning to support new initiatives
  • Product Management — Work on customer voice, needs and uses to position products and messages
  • Product Design — Work on product positioning and messaging
  • Sales — Work with sales to develop, deploy and refine sales tools and related collateral
  • Professional Services — Develop marketing collateral to position service offerings
 

Measurement of success of role will be:

  • Completeness of product collateral and support tools
  • Sales team adoption and effectiveness of collateral
  • Web and lead consumption of marketing materials
  • Quality and clarity of product positioning and presentation
 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5–7 years direct experience in product marketing
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in enterprise / engineering / operations software marketing
  • Minimum 3–5 experience in product marketing for engineering and manufacturing related software products
  • Prefer to have knowledge and experience with PLM and/or related software
  • Prefer 3–5 years experience in SMB marketing
  • Prefer experience in marketing an on–demand software offering
  • Significant experience in creating product marketing materials
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work with corporate marketing and product management
  • Ability to coordinate cross functional teams to deliver program objectives
  • Undergraduate degree in either marketing, business, or engineering
  • MBA preferred
